Hi there,

Got in the Eos tonight and it decided to ping up on the dash saying service due in 1400 miles (taking me to about 18300).

So was wondering how much folk have been charged for their first main dealer service?

Cheers

Dont think it should cost that much my previous golf 1.9tdi only cost £100 approx for minor service. Think it was £230 major.
Dont see why it would jump up just because its a convertible. When I was in the dealership the service prices for all cars were on the board, all minus the eos of course.
But dont think VW sevice is a bad price compared to other makes.

Let us know anyway it will give me time to fill up the money jar

When I was asking about prices to see if the contract was a good idea or not, I was given the prices of £140 minor and £240 major.

Hi all again,
Mine pinged a couple of weeks ago, so on Tuesday got first service at 10000 miles (got the car 18th Jan.) They were charging sales £120 +vat, as I got my first service free as a sweetener when buying. They Krytoxed the roof on request, I've had no problems but hey. I had just discovered a black screw lying in the boot, and they traced that to the shelf, better than somewhere in the roof mech. Other than fixing a grudging passenger seat slide that's it. Hope you all have as little or less.

Well took the car in and had the first service done for £187 which is less than I expected (was quoted 195 but it came out cheaper).

Also had a recall on it for a software update 24K6 whatever that resolves.

Cheers,
Si

I've just had the 1 year/10k mile service and it cost a little over £120. Great service too, which allays any fears I originally had about after sales.
