It's almost time for me to schedule the first service on the Eos.
Almost 8,000 KM in less than 2 months.... You can tell I love my car.....

The dealarship in Ottawa is charging $126.95 + taxes. I called an independant provider (MR. Lube) and the cost would be $86 + taxes. Both are using synthetic oil.

We are talking a $40 difference. What are your thoughts? What are the problems of having the service at an independant. Is it worth sticking with the dealership for $40 twice a year?

Thanks for your advice.

My personal opinion is that if you are confident in your dealer, then for the sake of $40, get it serviced there! By the way, I don't think I paid that much ... was around the $100 mark plus taxes at an Ontario dealer. Why don't you mention it to your dealer and maybe he will lower the price? Good luck!
