Took Skidoo's advice today, bum warmers on, heater up high, to drive the Eos topless. After a week of ownership it finally stopped raining and the sun shone so we decided on a trip out into the countryside for a spot of lunch. The wife and I really enjoed the pose! the car was great too, everything we wanted it to be, we really are pleased with our purchase. After lunch and about 30 miles later it started to rain, we pulled into a layby and the roof went up, great street theatre was the impression we got from a couple who clapped as they went by, we just wanted to keep the new baby dry inside.
To date our experience with the car has been fautless, no leaks or rattles and everything seems to work as advertised, even the dealer has been on the phone to chech on our satisfaction, I do wonder if VW will make the same effort ???

PS: Sorry posted in wrong section due to my over excitement

Absolutely gorgeous day here in DC. We had a car club meet in Baltimore, so the Rambler got spiffed up and made the trip. Tomorrow, the Eos gets the beauty treatment and the top down. We have to treat our kids equally so they don't get a complex.:)

I've been brave enough to put the top down quite a few times since I picked mine up on the 1st.

I too went to Tesco to get some bits. Got in the car... had a ponder... thought "sod it" and put the lid down. It was about 7 degrees outside but put the seats on 5 and the heating on full and I wouldn't have known the difference :)

I love it :D

Can't wait for summer to arrive (I hope we get one this year!)!!!

Great isn't it Ninja. The guys at work just can't believe that in this weather you can drive with the roof down and still be warm ! The EOS may have its faults but the ability to do just this makes up for them.
As for there being a summer this year, as long as it doesn't rain us EOS owners will be laughing.

I agree with you unless you are a passenger in the rear seats who don't get the benefit of the windscreen wind deflection and heated seats. They just get buffeted around in cold weather and its not that pleasant. Roll on warmer weather.

Happy EDAs
