Floor carpet on driver's side trying to escape...

Hello,
The little carpet below the driver's feet in my EOS keeps removing itself from it's rear-left point of attach. The right one holds firmly, whilst the left one keep ripping away.
Not that much an issue, just very annoying and removing perfection from my car, especialy after I've cleaned it!
Any idea if this can be replaced easily? Not the carpet, the little "thing" (forgive my poor english vocabulary..) that is used to hold it...
In our Passat, it's more of a larger knob that can be rotated 1/4 turn to secure a lock position, much more efficient...
Thanks!
Fred

Hi Fred,
I have the 1/4 turns in mine. I'd see the dealer & get them to change the fixings.
I bought some VW rubber mats for the winter & they had the round peg fixings. Took all of a couple of minutes to change the socket to 1/4 turn so they matched my carpet mats.
