We had heavy rain last week, followed by a heavy frost; I expected that the windows might be frozen (they were not) but the boot was absolutely frozen solid. It made the unlocking sound but did not pop up; only with difficulty could I move the opening "badge" and rather than apply excessive force to this I gave in and left the boot until later in the day.
I was half expecting the boot to open slightly at some point, as the release mechanism had been tripped, however this did not happen as the boot was still in the locked down position when the mechanism reset.
Anyone else experienced this, perhaps in Wisconsin?
