my first stick shift for awhile and often wonder what i am in and have to look at the rev counter

Hmmmm! Well I'm sure it will look nice at night, but looking down at the gear stick sounds a tad dangerous compared to looking at the Revs on the dash in front of you, listening to the engine note, and just general all round awareness! I'd 'stick' with it [groan!!!] as you will soon get used to it. I don't think they would shift much of this product in Europe where stick shifts dominate, which probably tells you all you need to know
