Hi Guys and Gals,

I'm not going to go over everything that's happened as there would probably be enough to write a short novel but this is where we are at with the ongoing saga of our EOS.

We have now had confirmation from the dealer's parent company that they are to order us a brand new EOS from factory. This EOS is to be largely the same specification as the old one but without Xenon headlamps and with Dual Zone Climate Control.

They will not be asking us to contribute towards the exchange and the new car will be delivered to us as an 08 plate on the 1st March next year.

In the meantime, they will give us our old EOS back which they categorically state is fixed.

Thanks for bearing with me, I haven't contributed to the forum very much recently but hope to be back at full swing from now on.

Thats great news Gav. At least you have an EOS to be using in the mean time. Great to have you back, I'm counting on you for information and help to add pic's to Andrew's new Photo Gallery when my car arrives!! Mine is now due 10th November so they have given me a Golf to use in the meantime.

That's not a bad idea. We will be getting the car back in a week or so once the replacement amplifier has been fitted.

Where do you propose this time?
