Hi, thought I would introduce myself. I owned a 307CC for a while but had so many problems with it I sold it and bought a bog standard 207. Boy have I been bored with that! So, my OH took me to VW showroom last week and we have ordered an Eos. I have gone for 2.0 in Midnight blue with black leather. Can't wait, should be collecting it a week on Friday.

Have only spotted one on the road and that was today in Haydock, St Helens.

Welcome to the club. Did you get the straight 2.0l or the turbo version?
I am very surprised at your delivery date as well, most people in the UK have to wait quite a few weeks normally.
Cheers

Hi JWB and Welcome!

Everyone seems to be really pleased when they spot another EOS locally....I always feel a bit disappointed because I want to be one of the select few ;)

I've seen a few round my way recently :(

Thanks for all the welcomes! Will look out for you Stephb, I live in Haydock but about to move to Leigh. Great number plate by the way!

I have bought the straight 2.0 version and I too was surprised at how fast they could get it to me. I think they are pulling out the stops so that they can register it before the end of the month. I can't wait, having had the 307cabriolet before I know exactly what it is like to own one, but this time I know it is going to better, plus there is certainly more room in the back for the children. I haven't had exact pick up day next week but will keep you informed.

Is it petrol or diesel as i have the diesel and when the turbo kicks in it doesnt half move! are you getting it from vw wigan or warrington???

Dont get excited over the free flowers they die after a day or two and are only about 5 quids worth :)

Im thinking we should get car stickers with the website address so that when other eos's spot us they can join and say hi :)

Happy New EOS when you get it, I think you will see a big difference to the 307CC, much better to drive and the feel is altogether much better. I noticed that the Eos has just been voted "open top of the year " again by What Car. Does give you a real feel good factor when you drive one. Enjoy it :)

yay! thats dead good news well tonight ive been out and about in haydock spotted a blue one known about him for ages on ashbury drive and then i was driving over the m6 going back into ashton on liverpool rd and a silver one came past with a lady driver heading into haydock didnt get chance to wave though.

I will be poping into costco tomorrow so i might see you and i'll be in snobbers hopefully. Print off the handover sheet i found that really helpful.

hope to see you soon and your happy with your car

Well, had the EOS a while now and have had the roof down whenever possible, I love my car!!:)

It is so much nicer to drive than the Peugeot 307CC - I am very happy with it and have to say it is worth every penny!:)
