Yeah iv seen that thread before...fantastic step by step guide... I really wonder if anyone has, hand on heart honestly done this procedure using this krytox and still had leak issues?.....

Yes it works and yes you must do it... I do it about twice a year and it takes me about an hour to do...

Also, I use the genuine VW lubricant as pictured in the above link... The process I use is also similar to what is in the link...

Yes bookmarked the tread, although i will stick with the £35 the dealership were going to sell me the Krytox for. And i am moving house and will be able to park my baby in a garage which will help as well.
