Praise where praise is due :

Saturday morning on opening the boot found a medium sized bolt in there! Pat & I looked everywhere, roof up, half up, down, half down couldn't find where it had come from. Drove down to VW Herron Dealers in Newark, salesman came and had a look - no he couldn't spot anything either. RICHARD the EOS mechanic came out asked where exactly I found the bolt and had I heard a rattle recently. Well yes I had a couple of times only when roof closed (not very often for me). Which side was rattle - drivers side. He opened roof completly checked up under one of the rims and immediatly pointed to where the bolt had dropped out from !! Apparently had a similar problem recently. Replace bolt, tightened it up and received much praise from us.
Now thats knowledge and service, so Thank you once again Richard if you read this (I know you were going to check out the forum).
Any one in Notts/Lincoln area thinking of getting and EOS, Herron of Newark come even more highly recommend now.

Where's Bennyville?? My first tour down here, done 3 in KAF.

I'm undecided now... I've also been swayed towards a Golf as I'd like to have a new shape, and it's better MPG.

Decisions!

Then perhaps get a Bluemotion Eos when they come available second hand.

Hi Redimps, how are you?
Yes noticed that but most of the same staff there (at present) and recent service was up to the usual standard apart from the fact that Rich (EOS expert) has now moved on.

Hi Gary had big problem with them but got it done now cos the air vent in the side panel in the boot let water in and it was repaired ok but new seals they fitted was not done to the high standard that we are used to so back it went. had to order a new carpet for boot but also new cockpit carpet as the car smells of mold.
