We have named him, Tyson. It all started when my fiancee said the car is sexy without being too female or too male oriented. I then said the 2.0 T FSI is a great engine and very muscular and since we were (at the time) getting it in black (which is a colour I love), she said we should call it Tyson. She was thinking of a male model, Tyson someone and I was thinking of big, bad Mike.... The name has stuck even though it subsequently became silver.....

Ahh Shakespeare was so correct in explaining in "Romeo and Juliet" that a name is everything; consequently, my eismeer eos is named...ah the art of simplicity... Blue Beauty.

hmm off the deeep end...

I just busted out laughing as I see the post title, I've named my car once but it's purely out of frustration, it was a 1971 AMC gremlin, I named it dumbo and fittingly so. As for my eos....It's candy white with wheatbeige interior, soon to be outfitted with a remote roof chip....any ideas....

Soliciting names... I'll pick a winner in a couple of days...so far I have just referred it as my midlife crisis mobile... a bit too long.

Ah what's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet!

Current car is an Audi, so of course she is always referred to as Audrey! When my Eos comes, she will of course be referred to as The Goddess!

i just call mine "girlfriend", my two best buddies are my official "partners in crime" and my now retired walking partner is pot roast and i'm pork chop. (still trying to recall how we evolved into chunks of meat) but girlfriend just sort of slipped out when i started taking road trips.... i'd just jump in and say okay girlfriend where to?.......and it stuck.

Hi Folks!

As I have noted in other threads, my Eos was destined to be called Legolas, in keeping with all the Fellowship characters I have named my other cars after.

The car's subtle beauty and power, including the CSC roof feature, reminds of the elf's hypernatural abilities. And, as i have noted, remove a few letters from LEGOLAS and you get EOS.

But no lembas here; I don't allow food in the interior!
