Welcome. When you get some time, how about some photos of your Eos with the scenery where live.

no problem

when it stops raining will take some pretty photos, I won't do any night ones as my rear passenger light has fused due to water ingress and the local spanish VW dealer in Los Barrios says he cant fit me in until 4th of March..........

Personally i think hes taking the pi.. as his first question was where I bought the car, the second comment was that theres another VW dealer in Marbella , cheeky blighter.......... so much for VW ESPANA !!!!!

Hi thegull!
I live close to Malaga and bought (my wife!) an EOS from Fuengirola VW dealer(same company than Marbella), they seem OK. Like to read but not too much time to write (travel a lot) and not too much to say either.
First thought the EOS was a nice toy for women to show off, but quickly changed my mind, it is a VERY good car. Not interested by speed, or performances and trying to keep my driving licence!, so we choosed a diesel with all options but automatic gear box (wife don't like or don't know...) and realy enjoy it. Will try to find out how to edit post to put my location and avatar, and also post a nice photo of the car in the fantastic surroundings we have arround Marbella.

Hi Yellow Machine,

i went to Marbella last night and they have ordered the rear light unit which they reckon will take 3-4 days. They were very professional I must admit (must be used to all the expats here)

As for buying a diesel, my wife's is diesel as well :D ,as like you the Guardia Civil (police/gun touting civil guard) don't give you a chance these days speeding and also in the summer its fantastic to nip over to Portugal or up to Murcia without the pound signs worrying you in regard to fuel consumption. (Spain's alot bigger than the UK for all you UK drivers).
And your right the Eos is a fab car, the first VW i have ever bought and im impressed!

If only it would stop raining now i could put the top down!!!! maybe I should have stuck it out in Torquay...............:p

at last got my rear pilot light changed (all under warrenty:D )

Rains stoped, the suns come out and it looks like a perfect weekend to take some photos of the car .........
