I picked up my 09 EOS Komfort 6/1, Candy white with beige interior. The only options I got were the rubber floor mats and I-Pod adapter. So far I LOVE the car, great performance and fuel mileage and very stable handling. I'm sure I'll have some questions for the group as time goes on, but right now I'm all smiles.

Hi Glenn

I am sure you will enjoy your car for a very long time, I have had mine for 2 and a half years now and still grin like an idiot when driving it!!

Welcome to the club, Longrider! Sounds to me like you might want to check out the SmartTop - an aftermarket option that makes the Eos twice as much fun!

Welcome to the site Glenn,

Seven days of glorious sun here in the North West of the UK since my ownership of the Eos :D , that came to an end on Friday 5th June :( . Never mind, at least I know the roof doesn't leak. :)
Mind you, I'm still enjoying the driving experience :D .

Welcome Glenn, happy safe driving to you.

Blackmagic, as long as it isn't actually raining there is no reason at all for not going 'topless' ! Wind deflector in place, bum warmers on and life is great.

Topless again :D , I don't shy away from being topless at any opportunity. It was wet at the weekend.

:D I've been topless in the rain and didn't even get wet! Ok was going at 50mph and had wind deflector up but still very impressed that the raindrops weren't falling inside my car! :)

"I think my purchase of any EOS may have cursed my area, I've had it for 10 days and it's rained on 6 of them."

So, it's your fault?????????

What about this for an embarrassment. Was driving topless to work one morning. Came off the A1(M) as it started raining. The light was red so I thought I had time to do the roof up. In a typical fashion, the second I pressed the roof button down, the lights turned green. As I do not have the SmartTop option, I ended up blocking a whole lane on the slip road. And to crown it all, by the time I had finished and was on the move again, the light turned red again. Ouch, I was probably not the flavour of the day that day. :(

It's just Murphy's Law in action Tintin!
Lights are always red a) when you're in a hurry or b) when you are not doing anything whilst you wait. If you think "I'll just change CDs" or "I'll just put the roof down" or "I'll just nip into the boot for that chocolate bar" the lights will turn green the INSTANT you start doing whatever it is you are going to do!
