Hi; everyone,

New to the forum; I just got a 2008 EOS. This morning I insert one music CD. It seems can not read, so when i press "reject" it can not reject. Instead after a while it shows "EXT AUX IN". It just won't reject CD.
What should I do? Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the same problem on two occasions with my 2008 Eos. Both times I just left it for a while (half day to a day) and then tried later and it ejected the disc fine. It has only happened after extensive use...so it might be overheating?? (just a guess) I'd give it a few hours before trying to eject it again.

There have been problems with some of the radio/cd units - mine had to be replaced (on warranty) due to skipping on cds & ipod. I got the impression some had had cd's stuck in them as the unit goes back to Germany and they have to send the cd back to you.

Probably worth a mention to your dealer, who should be aware of the problem.

CD stuck

The radio in my 2008 lux is the same as in my previous Jetta, trying later to eject is often the fix,,if not, let the dealer warrantee it....if out of warrentee there are lots of OEM radios on the net...I replaced the one in my jetta with a new unit I got on ebay...of course its buyer beware when using ebay but I was happy with the deal
