Two questions on my 2014 VW EOS Executive with 2.0 TSI engine.

1. First, as I’m exploring my engine on this car I bought and I’ve been cleaning up, I noticed what appears to be a missing part. Maybe a vacuum like and air hose? See photos.

2. Where is the turbo boost sensor?

Does the engine run without an engine MIL warning lit? Parts missing like hoses should show faults if the car was scanned. If the car is new to you, a diagnostics scan will give you more information.

Nothing hooks up to that port in photos 1 & 2. I have a stock 2014 Komfort that I drove home from the dealership and it never has had a hose on it. And it drives perfect. I’ll check the other port in photo 3 when I get back home on Monday.

I don't have this engine but if we knew what parts were on either end, we might be able to work out was going on or what option they might have been designed for?
