this is a really great site you have here!

I'm from www.eosoc.co.uk the very first Eos Owners Club.

If you would like to be part of the Eos Owners Club as well as this "Eos Community" please take a look at our site.

I'm sure you have a lot that you could contribute to the site.

Thanks
Done! See you on there! :D

Do you want US people, or is this just for UK people? :) Just had to ask since it is a UK url. :D We know you really don't like us US folk, you just put up with us because you are such nice people. ;)

I would welcome any forum where I could discuss my Eos and/or post queries, but have I tried logging onto the correct site, it only has 102 users and the last post was November ??

This is all true and people have said it is a bit of a ghost town on it, but I have been in touch with Lisa from the site who I think added the above post and she said it was still really just trying to get going.

You never know, you might find a solution to an issue on the other site that you hadn't found on here previously.

The only reason I joined was because you can never have too much advice or experience in my eyes! :D

I like Doola's perspective on things...
Question to the other forum owners: do you also welcome non-UK, non Brit, English-speaking EOS owners?

We welcome anyone and everyone, I've got more time to give to the site now which is why we are trying to get it up and running and increase peoples posting and input.

in response to the url being Uk, you can also access it via www.eosoc.com

We've gained 12 new members in the past 2 days so hopefully the site will be getting better and better!

:D

might it be best to somehow just merge the two or since the www.vweosclub.com site is going so strong just encourage the eosoc.com folks to use this site??? I'm a lumper not a splitter.

I agree. I'm all for people having the initiative to set up a website but see little value in joining another forum that offers no more than what we already have.

I plan to try and keep up with both for now. Like Doolallygirl said, can't get too much information. I love all of the info we have gained from this site. Give me more, I want more, more info.... The sites are also good research for my job, since I work in the Automotive design, I can see what people like, don't like ext.

I understand that you feel this forum offers enough for what you require, however the reason for my advertising my site is that it was actually the first eos forum that was available. I never had any spare time to put into the site and it has taken almost 2 years for me to actually find the time to get completely involved with it.

I am hoping to be very active on the site now, offering not only help with technical issues but also organising club events and making it a full "Owners Club" offering the perks of owners clubs such as the 206cc OC & Coupe Club for example.

At present it is just a standard forum but I have had discussions with angel media about producing a full site to be able to offer proper membership facilities.

Regular meets, special events and show attendance with an Eos Stand etc.. For modified Eos owners there could also be the opportunity to have features in national magazines in time.

So, thanks for your comments :)
