Just found this forum - thought I must join that!

My silver EOS reaches it's 3rd birthday next week - got it on launch date of 15 July 2006.

I love the car, but don't use it enough - scared to park it next to 'lesser cars' as their drivers are often not as careful as me!

Welcome. My Eos is 3 in December, I still love mine. Went away 2 weeks ago, up to County Durham, did 1200 miles in a week, roof down all the time except going up and back home and that was only because the boot was too full to get the roof down. Mind you just as well on way home as I drove through two horrendous thunder storms.
I know what you mean about not trusting others but I think its a shame not to use it so am more relaxed these days.

Welcome hjg. I know the feeling, I end up parking in the family car spot or disabled sometimes (naughty I know) in supermarkets, just so the car doesn't get knocked.

welcome hjg. We are off to your part of the world next week for a holiday, sadly in the wifes Merc., as the dog is coming with us and doesn't like sitting in the back when the roof is down! My EOS will be 2 in November and I still have to smile each time I get into it - how sad is that!

i wish..

As a prospective buyer of an Eos, currently doing the homework and wishing that 2nd hand prices weren't so crazily high (to the point that it makes more sense to buy a new one), I love reading messages like the above where you guys treat the car like one of the family because you're so proud and protective of it!

I really really really want an Eos!!

The first year I had mine we still had our dog so most ling trips were in the 'Y' reg Skoda Fabia Estate - I good car but NOT an EOS! The dog could not be trusted to stay put and he used to 'smell' as he was very old, so he never travelled in the Vw - lost him in Aug 07 so now the EOS gets more use - and I still smile.

I hope you enjoy Dorset - we would never move away now - been here since 1981.
