Curt Manufacturing in the USA is listing its 11090 hitch for the Volkswagon Eos! It requires lowering the exhaust and trimming wings off the heat shield. I'm hoping to get a letter from my dealer saying that the installation will not "damage" the vehicle when my lease is up in three years.

I'm so-o-o looking forward to driving this car east to bike on Cape Cod trails. Of course, I won't be able to drive with the top down until I get there, but the future is finally looking bright.

Dan, the Curt hitch works very well. I've purchased a Hollywood bike rack, and I'm set to role. I took pictures but don't know how to insert them here.

I do hope you'll post pics. I decided about a month ago that the Eos is the car to replace my 7.5 y/o, 100,000 miles NB. I hope to buy my desired Eos within the next week and have been wondering how to transport my mountain and road bikes with this car. I've had 3 convertibles before and never gave it a second thought to put a blanket around my bike and throw it in the car's backseat with the top down. Somehow, I'm not wanting to do that with the Eos.
