This wouldn't usually be something I'd be worried about, but now with my nice sparkly EOS its in the forefront of my mind!
Am off to dubai in 4 weeks time (shall be in the air actually!), usually my parents are good enough to run me to and fro heathrow, but given that they've both been in the cardiac care units in the last 8 weeks (a very good reason for my break), I can't really get them to that for me this time!
So, unfortunately for me, driving to heathrow is the only option (doing a birmingham - london - somerset -birmingham route).
So, I am now a tad worried about leaving my car in a long stay car park for 2.5 weeks! Any recomendations? In the past, with a golf, I've used parking express at terminal 4, and would probably do the same again. As its an early flight i'll be looking at staying in a hotel the night before (pretty much get the hotel stay free of charge if i book a package).
So these are the options
1) book long stay car park off site, where i have to leave my keys
eek: )
2) book on site parking, - keep my keys
3) use the onsite parking at some of the hotels - keep my keys
Hmmmmmm. Trying to work out if my concern is down to the chance of the car being damaged by some other twerp opening their doors, someone stealing it, or some evil little tyke parking it on an industrial park and speeding on the motorway - as nicely seen on Watchdog!
