Hello
2009 eos
I’m having a problem with the horn on my 2009 eos. The horn works with key fob as well as when the car is running. When the key is removed from the ignition the horn doesn’t work at all. Unless you lock car with key fob it will beep. I was sitting in my car with it off went to blow horn at someone noticed it didn’t work. So when I put key in turn ignition it worked fine. Is this how it suppose to work or is there a problem? Can I make it work when the car not on?

There is no problem with your horns. There is one horn that sounds like a European horn that sounds when you lock the car or push the panic button. There is another horn that works from the steering wheel. I am guessing it only works when the key is on to prevent the possibility of the horn running the battery down though a short in the wiring. You could probably rewire the horn though I see no advantage to doing so.
