I find that lots of heads turn when I am driving my EOS. Yesterday some kids on the side of the street shouted out "Hey ... cool car!" as I waited at the traffic light. Others have come up to me in parking lots to watch the mechanical ballet of the top folding. How kewel is that? Other owners experiencing the same wow factor who would like to share?

A similar tale. I was driving home after bowling one evening with the top down. Someone pulled up next to me at a stop light and asked me what kind of car it was and how I liked it.

or most people just stop and stare at him and it puts a grin on my face knowing that he's mine

The Eos is not very common, but there are a few around. When the top is down, it attracts a lot of great looks and comments.
The same as I did when I saw my first Eos in a traffic jam 6 months ago. I just had to go out and find out about the Eos, and now I have one.

Yes, I've experienced it quite a few times, which in the UK is very unusual. Anyone taking an interest over here usually leaves a coin-gouge down the side... Anyone who's ever driven a very up-market car with the top down will know all about being spat upon...

The roof in action definitely is a crowd pleaser. The downside is when people want to know what it costs. Then the common phrase they use is "But it's only a VW!".

when driving in sunbathing mode, my EOS get lots of looks, but I read them as being "yeah man, you're showing off..." or, as soemone pointed out, as "ok, not bad ; but couldn't you afford a real SLK or Z4?" . Interestingly enough, it's with roof up, in coupé mode, that I get most questions, marks of appreciations, people staring with insistance... Side note: I've noticed that with all the Megane CC and 206cc over here, the roof mechanism does not impress people as much as it used to even a year ago...

The most, typically, land up being whilst its parked in my parents drive, and all the delivery guys etc never know what it is, and love it!

Some kid asked their mum if it was a porsche as i drove past the other day - made me smile, and my nephew thinks its a Transformer!

I love that "when driving in sunbathing mode" eos3. I shall in future refer to it as that instead of 'topless'. I must confess I love to put the roof down in the garage, just after I have filled up with petrol. The sudden silence while people watch makes it hard not to grin like a silly kid.
