I used the AutoGlym range of products on mine, especially seeing as I had the AutoGlym coating applied to mine and got the free pack of cleaning products with it.

I've used the polish once or twice (to try and cover some minor scratches) but it doesn't seem to apply or come off very well. Maybe it's an old bottle I've got...?

I generally use my hose to rinse the car, then go a couple of panels at a time from top down cleaning and rinsing. Can take about an hour if you do it quickly but I generally like to take my time.

I also use the AutoGlym wheel cleaner too to get the brake grime off the wheels. Works a treat but it does require a bit of effort!

I use the 'two bucket' method with a good qaulity microfibre mit after hosing the worst off first. a silicon blade to get most of the water off followed by a halfords large chamy ( spelling !!) The polish I use is Turtle Platinum wax as it doesn't leave that horrible white powder that the Autoglym does applied with some microfibre cloths, any tiny scratches I use Meguiars Scratch X and for inside I like the Autoglym Interior shampoo and the vinyl and rubber care.

I use my boyfriend to clean my car, he's quite efficient, never leaves water marks on it and I stay dry and clean by using him! Want to borrow him??! He's quite cheap??! :D :p

I spray wheels with an alloy wheel cleaner Turtlewax, the lower half of the body with their tar/bug remover, then turn down the power on by jetwash to rince the top half, then full power rinse the bottom and wheels. Follow this with a microfibre spounge with a wash and wax, rinse again and chamy (consistant spelling!!:p ). For inside I use window stuff which came with it, wipes for the plastic and some leather cleaner spray for the seats.
Phew I need to lie down now:eek:

Even though mine has been AutoGlym'd im not really that impressed with it so do it the hard way.

If it is really dirty I start off by using a clay bar and give the car a really good clay, then a good wash using Meguiars NXT. A nice mitt and two buckets, one with a filter so all the nasties are not transferred back to the mitt.

A good dry with a microfibre cloth and im ready for the wheels.

A blast on full power with the jet wash followed by Meguiars wheel cleaner, dried with old tea towels, coat of Meguiars or Poorboys wheel polish, a coat of Meguiars wheel wax then I seal them with Poorboys sealer. The wheels take about an hour and a half but if done properly no brake dust gathers at all on the wheels for 3 months and it is just a case of a quick hose off.

To finish with the body I wax and seal it again with Poorboys product. Glass cleaned inside and out with Autoglym glass polish and a trusty piece of newspaper.

I hoover the inside, interior has been autoglym'd too and that is much better. So just a quick wipe over with an ever so slightly damp cloth.

All in all takes a good 5 hours to do properly, I just find it soo relaxing, radio on, nice supply of drinks, wonderful.

If anyone is ever interested there is an amazing forum www.detailingworld.co.uk

It is a forum dedicated on cleaning(detailing) cars and has so much stuff on it, its untrue.

Use a bucket and water with a good wash wax solution and then dry wit a micro fibre cloth. Also polish and wax it occasionally as well if I have the time. Definitley do not jet wash the car.

Must say though, I have not washed it since August as the dealer does it for me every time it is back.....

I have had my car a month and not washed it yet, i have the auto pack and plan on using this but my thinking is that with the road salt and the bad weather leaving the car unwashed is probably a good idea for the moment.

I plan on go over after christmas with a couple of buckets of water and a sponge and giving it a go :)

A month and have not washed your baby? Ok, thats it:mad: Send the EOS patrol after this guy.
Just kidding :)
I wash ours once a week. I take it to the touchless wash near by that I can adjust to pressure down. I take a lamb skin Sham along and wipe it down after the air blower. Every 4th wash I do at home with Wizard products, and our power washer (I am very careful on the seal area). I really like the Wizard bug remover. You spray a little on the bug beaten area, drink a beer (I drink fast), and gently wipe them away. Wizard also has a polish rejuvenator that really helps bring that deep luster back with out applying new polish. Now that winter has set in, I will have to take to the detail shop once and a while.

I know the feeling, it is -4° C here this morning. The New EOS is in the garage with lots of road salt / chemical from yesterday. I want to take to the wash, however the roads coming back to the house would only mess it up again. Forecast says warmer temps by Wed, so think I will wait.
