Oh dear -- one week for me. Three rock dings -- 2 on the windshield and one on the hood -- all in the same day! Yep, stuff happens, yup, it's just a car, but geeze . . .

Mechanically all seems well -- that is obviously what one relies on day by day. And of course I still love this car, pristine new or not.

In a little over a year we have gathered some nicks and dings on the front bumper, hood edge, and windshield. Also we have scuffed wheels on one side of the door from an encounter with a curb as well as a door dent when the passenger door got yanked from the wife's hand by a strong wind gust. All of this is repairable. Some of it is unavoidable. So far we have been able to avoid an accident and no large objects have attacked our Eos. The only way to prevent this is to never take the car out of the garage. But doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of buying the car?

Indeed. A bit like buying a new sofa (couch) and leaving the clear plastic on it to keep it 'new looking'.
thats why my face sticks it it everytime i take a nap.

not sure I can ever let go.... I want to keep it as good as new forever, although I know that something will happen sometime. Like a roof tile sliding off the roof in a high wind and leaving a massive dent in the M section or smashing the glass sunroof!
