I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who's started taking the long way to places. For example, I have a couple of options when driving my EOS home from work. Option 1 is a highway and Option 2 is part highway then a nice winding road through some woods and past some old farms. I normally take option two.

In fact, wherever I roam with the Eos I find myself trying to find the "long road" with two lanes and some nice bends in the road. Of course, some good tunes on the radio completes the picture.

How many others are out there taking the long road/route now?

Me too. Lots of nice country lanes on the way back to my weekday digs so an excuse for an extended drive :)

It's 60 miles to work. This can be either 20 miles major trunk roads and 40 Motorway or 30 minor roads and 30 Motorway. If it's dry, then it has been the 30 miles of Motorway :) (I tend to keep the roof up due to the noise)

Coming home I put the roof down at the end of the Motorway for the last 20 miles. Or all the way if it's late!

I usualy drive the highway to and from work (off the main road is just waayyyy to looong  ), yet with roof down as often as possible :p ...
I however take the longer way anytime I can, including sometimes just going out of work over lunch time for a pleasant roof-down round-trip drive in the moutains around...
Enjoy Open Skies! it's all in the name! :D
