Have to say that even though I am in rainy Seattle, I am thrilled to be the owner of a brand new Eos. Up here if it gets sunny, you run outside, put the top down and drive whenever you get the chance.

Seems like I got incredibly lucky from what I am reading on these boards. I had done a lot of research and had decided that what I wanted was a 2.0T with an automatic but not the one you can shift, the middle of the road sound system, the luxury package and 17" wheels in Island Gray.

Had done a test drive in Las Vegas two weeks ago while we were on vacation and loved it. Got to drive for an hour while we waited for the sales guy we wanted to talk to come in.

When he got there I told him what I wanted and he said they only had four on the lot but one might suit my needs. Amazingly enough it not only suited my needs, it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Every single thing. I am truly amazed and love my Eos.

At 54 years old I have owned nothing but sensible cars my entire life. Station wagons, vans, SUVs. The last semi-cool cars I owned were three bugs ('66, '68 and '69) back in the early 70s. It's funny that with no VWs in between I am back to it now.

Way to go!

I agree, the rain can be a little bit of a depression factor-- especially when you have an Eos screaming to go on a drive-- but at least it is better than snow.

Since there are so few Eos drivers, I'm thinking we should get a west coast meet together. I'd love the chance to drive down to Seattle. Might take a while as I'd have to take the coastal road (my Eos just doesn't approve of the I-5). ;)

Did you buy in LV and drive back, or did you wait until you got home to Seattle first?

Bought it here

EOSmage,

I bought it here in Bellevue. Had a fantastic buying experience. Best of my car-buying life.

Our first road trip is going to be up your way to visit friends in Chilliwack for Cinco de Mayo. Someone told us the best way to celebrate the national holiday of Mexico was to go to Canada. :D

Let us know if you head this way.
