Help, I have just bought a july 07 eos and love it already. However, the ipod connector in the arm rest does not seem to work with my ipod. I have a classic 30gb ipod and have "reset" it as the eos manual suggests. I read that you are supposed to press the CD button until CDC appears on the screen and it should recognise the ipod. However.... it does not. Any suggestions?

I've had this happen to me 2 times now and on both occasions it was the connector in the arm rest. The local dealer sorted it out under warrenty on both occasions.

There is an issue with connectivity between the new gen of Ipods however with your classic there should be no issues.

Hope this helps

Yes eyresp Simon is right, I had the same problem with my 'Classic' ipod and it was the connector itself - took it back to dealer, they changed it and now all ok.
