Does anyone have an EOS with the IPOD connector?
I've been told by my Dealership that this won't work.

I have a hard time believing this. since you can get a MKV Jetta, GTI, etc.. with the same OEM NAV unit and simply swap CD for IPOD?


(What I've done)
1. Removed my indash 6 disk changer
2. Installed OEM (US VERSION) mfd2
3. Installed IPOD connector (swapped 3 wires as expected for install)

Does anyone know if this needs VAG coding? to enable cd changer for MFD2?

any help would be appreciated

I have the OEM nav in my 2.0t sport with the iPod in the center console. Works great. I had to order my Eos though because I wanted all the toys but I wanted the Manual trans.
