Just a heads up for all UK owers, are your dealers and garages got a safe handling of refrigerant trained (techie). Cos as of the 4 July 2009 all automotive aircon centres and techie's have the have done the safe handling training. All D I Y products are to stop being sold unless you provide a safe handling cert to the supplier. four garages in my area have been reported.

Please be carefull how does your aircon check they are trained you have the right to see the certificate.

The A/C machines are all automatic now... There's nothing for them to do, they just connect to the H/P and L/P connectors and press start!!

The machine drains out, pressure tests and injects oil and then refills!!

Yes but all tech's how do air con now must as of the 4 July 2009 must have completed refrigerant safe handling training to even put the machines on the car now. . C & G, OR CITB.
