Heard from my dealer yesterday - my car is now in Germany! So should be with them end of next week and then the countdown begins. I am just SO excited now!

Car is at my dealers! Just the pre-delivery checks and number plates to do now. Will have her next week! This is just so exciting!

when car comes dealer will probably offer you 7 day free insurance with VW. Take it up if you have transfers etc. to do. When you ring them to take it they will offer to do you a quote. I checked round and the quote from VW came in better than my usual insurers so will take VW's when mine runs out in a 6 months (as it only cost me £50 extra to add EOS on for the 6 months) which was with Churchill.

Know how you feel foxy, pick mine up this Saturday now about 50 hrs to countdown !!!! Not that I'm counting!

My car is delayed yet again. Yesterday's port date did not happen. The battery in my current car died yesterday instead. I think it's appropriate for me to post in the "It's Getting Closer" thread, but I'm beginning to wonder . . .

Had mine 1 week tomorrow and loving it. Nice long drive down to London and back this weekend. So far so good.
