Hi guys,

We finally placed our order today for the following spec but we are still undecided on which colour. We have until Tuesday to make our decision and tell the dealer.

2.0 T-FSI
Chicago Alloys
Xenons
Dynaudio Soundpack
Multi Function Steering Wheel
Winter Pack
Luxury Pack
Cornsilk Vienna leather

We are torn between the Deep Black and Shadow Blue. Both look nice with the cornsilk leather but we just dont know which paint colour to choose.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

I would choose the blue, only because I have it and it looks great! I would think the black would show the dirt more. I have photos of my Eismeer Blue in my post "Got my Eos Tuesday"

Whatever color you choose, you will love the car.

Hi Gavster,

I have the same spec as you + Sat Nav and mine is Shadow Blue. I have attached some pics. The colour looks fantastic in sunlight and my own view is that the black look is now too common in the UK. My daughter has a black car and it is an absolute pain in the *ss to keep clean.

Whatever colour you will enjoy. Just let that engine rev and see what I mean.;)

Our dealer has arranged for a Shadow blue one to be brought up for us to look at on Monday so we'll let you know what we choose.

If going for black, would anyone consider the solid black against the pearle?

Shadow blur..or how about this..... Island grey!!! I call it the-lazy-car-washer's-black. Its scruptiously masculine with the 5 spoke sport rims, or even the lemans if you are getting a 2.0T, and the cornsilk interior makes it looks classic!!!

Now Archie,
Sell him some colour coordinated accessories for the back seat?

Problem with solid black is that it shows swirl marks much more easily. No matter how carefully you wash your car, there is always going to be a little bit of grit. I'm speaking through experience here.
The black does get dirty quickly, but the finish looks so good and deep when clean. Just make sure you get tyre cleaner though if you do get black, because grey tyres show up against the dark black!!!

That's exactly my colour combination, and I love it! See photo's in the 'Eos Photo's and Video's' section!! Nice and light interior when driving roof-up, lifts your spirit at all times. Have to keep the leather clean mind you, but any colour has its issues!!

Think it is a little late for suggestions now ... if Gavin hasn't put his order in by now, he will NEVER get his car! What colour did you order Gavin?

Very nice combination! Will take some TLC to keep it clean, but still a great look. I see lots of "goodies" too! Well chosen!

Yea, Gavin, nice choice of packages. As Fred says it will take a lot of looking after but when it gets a real wax polish its worth it. The depth of shine is the best.

Cheers
