I initially posted this on the Eastern US site but others may be interested.

The Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards recognize automakers' outstanding achievements in producing vehicles that best retain their value. Awards are presented to top vehicles within Kelley Blue Book's 11 vehicle categories, for Overall Top 10 vehicles across all categories and the brand with the best projected resale value across its entire line of vehicles.
The VW EOS is one of the top 10.
Volkswagen Eos

While more and more automakers are ditching the traditional soft-top convertible in favor of sophisticated power-retractable hardtop models, the Eos is the only hardtop drop-top that also incorporates a built-in sunroof. Combined with a gorgeous interior, eager handling and room for four, the Eos promises driving enjoyment that will last well after the new-car aroma is gone.

KBB’s projection of how this vehicle will retain its value over 3 yrs. is approximately 60%.

Resale

That's good news, I recently sold my 3 year old SAAB convertible for $22,000
(au dollers) but bought it for $64,000 new. Ouch!!! that hurt. Not regretting the sale though, my EOS is the best car purchase I have made.
Silver, red nappa leather, auto, 2 litre turbo.
