Firstly I don't have one but fully understand that prevention is better than cure so I have Krytox and know how to lubricate the seals.
My question is over these drain plugs which can also cause an issue if blocked - how does one check these ? where are they ?

Local agent had my car now for a full week, phone call this morning stating that they cannot find where water is getting into boot so they are keeping the car 'til they do. They claim to have fixed the leak into the car.
Well, lots of rain forecast so some good testing - when it does come back.

My pride & joy was delivered to my home this afternoon with an 'assurance' that it was now leak-free - we shall see!!!

Had a quick look and the boot seal appears different to my recollection of waht it did look like. The foremost 'pointy' corners, the place where the rear window meets the rear wing - the large triangular area of rubber is now very shiny (almost plastic-y) - I'm sure it was 'dull' before

Probably won't have to wait long for some rain to test it - it is a British summer!!

Thanks Ianmarc - my car is a UK launch model - July 06 - maybe there has been a mod. - or I could just be 'blind'!

Car now sitting outside (normally garaged) as heavy rain is forecast for today in S England - to test the claim that it is now 'dry'.
