Hi,

Soaking wet carpets in the rear footwell put my April 2007 Eos in the garage a month ago and it is still there!! My dealer is a little vague but I understand a VW mod installed on Friday failed to fix the leak. They are now awaiting a tecnician from VW to investigate the problem.

20T. So long sine I have driven it I have forgotton the colour and extras. Currently driving a Diesel Passat.

Probably the m segment seals probably need lubricating.... Or window seals.....

Do you know what "mod" they are referring to? I wouldn't accept vague, I would demand an explanation!!

Check the seals are correctly aligned and soft

Hi,

It is still in the garage, unfortunately I have been too busy to do anything other than phone them but I will get in there before the weekend. I did check the seals and they did seem to be OK.

I will keep you posted once I have something to report.

My car is back in the garage tomorrow the mod did not work. I am also concerned, now we have frosty mornings, what damage may occur when the windwos drop to allow the door to open.

The saga continues!!
