Hello, I have not seen any mention of the fact that you cannot lift up the widscreen wipers on the Eos in order to clean the windscreen with them stowed up and out of the way. Seems a pretty silly oversight on VW's part if this is a genuine oversight. Or am I missing something?:(

Something I had a problem with the other week washing it - didn't think of Laura's suggestion! I found that the left hand one comes up nicely under the bonnet when its up, but the right one doesn't - so the windscreen isn't quite as clean as it could have been!

What you need to do is:

1) switch ignition on then straight off again.
2) push lever down as if flick-wiping.

Wipers will move into the upright position for washing then you can just get out and lift them off the windscreen.

When you've finished switch the ignition on again, flick-wipe again and they'll park. Switch off.

You should try a differet shell and not Bash. Pity Eos wipers are not set up like a Mac OS.
