Locking trunk w/ top down?

Just got an Eos (love it!), but I can't believe there is no locking feature for the trunk for when the top is down. Traded in a Solara and that car had a lock mechanism. Couldn't find any indication of this in the maual. Just wondering if I'm missing something! Thanks:)

Top down, ultrasonic alarm is activated inside the car when the car is locked with the fob.
Theres a switch on the drivers door to disable the alarm, if you have left your dog/granny in the car.
