Well Members Its March 1st Tomorrow So Good Luck To All Of You Getting Your New Cars. Make Sure You Go Over Them With A Fine Tooth Comb Before You Leave The Dealership And Open And Close The Top Several Times Whilst Still With The Dealer - Just In Case.
Many Happy Safe Eda's (and No Water Leaks) To All Of You - Good Luck, Look Forward To Hearing From You All - Eventually - And The Photo's.

Skidoo, I would find this very useful. Can you, or anyone else give more tips of what to do when collecting the car? With best intentions, I fear the rose tinted goggles will be on when I go and collect it, and I'll just want to drive away as soon as possible.

lordy, I think GAVSTER posted a complete check list for when picking up your car somewhere on the forum. Search posts by 'GAVSTER' or 'check list'. DO NOT REPEAT DO NOT accept the keys and just drive out. Act cool and check out the car BEFORE leaving. Make sure you have your free Krytox wipes in the boot of the car - they should be there - if not ask for them, and get them to check out the boot of any other EOS they may have in for them!! Good Luck. Report back when you have time!!!! DRIVE SAFE

Also, make sure you inspect the bodywork in daylight. It was very difficult to spot the 2 minor dings in mine when I picked it up as the light was fading. They were very noticeable in the light of the following morning.
Dealer sorted them, though (and you can't tell where they were).

Check colour match of bumpers to body, mine isn't too good and is being reviewed by area paint inspector next week.Check from several angles including downwards.
Enjoy your day of sublime posing!!!

Hi Guys (and Gals),

I echo Skidoo's comments and wish everybody good luck for tomorrow.

We are collecting our replacement EOS tomorrow at 1pm so will report back after that.

Once again, good luck and looking forward to meeting some of you this spring / summer.

Success!

Boy oh boy! Weather so good (blue sky, 13 deg) had the top down straight away on collecting from the dealer - what a fantastic car and what an enjoyable drive. Wow! Once I've calmed down I'll get some pics organised, but I might be too busy driving this weekend!!!

Hope everyone else got their cars OK, looking forward to reading all the reports...

just a quick question but can you put the roof down while the car is moving or do you have to be stationary with the handbreak on like a renault megane hardtop??
