Hi,

My wife and I spoke to a local dealer and was told that all EOS cars come with 20miles on the odometer. Is this true?

How many miles were on your new EOS when you purchased it?

Thanks a bunch!!

Sounds like BS to me unless they have the speedometers turned off (disconnected until they sell the vehicles). I think mine had about 35. The mileage on ANY new car depends on how many times it is driven in the "demo" mode. My dealer would let me drive any one they had on the lot and so I did drive 2 others besides the one I bought. The first two drives were just to see if I liked the car. Then I got around to picking my color and of course, I did a quick test drive on that one as well.

My salesman gave me the car to drive by myself which I really liked since I didn't have to listen to him yacking about the car while I was getting acquainted with Ms Eos. In my experience, some salesmen operate in this manner and some come along to ride shotgun.

Mine had 7 in the showroom and 9 when I picked it up.
About normal in uk. Anything less than 50 would be OK I think. Sometimes they drive the car from one showroom to another. If you have a factory order I would expect much less. Mine was not a factory order so I guess I was lucky.

My last car (Focus CC3) had 15miles but I didn't think anything of it at the time...hmm it was a crap car anyway and I managed to get a full refund (it leaked like a tap, as they all do!) without paying mileage costs but if I'd had to pay them I would have forgotten to take that into consideration!!

My Eos had 6,494....but it was ex-demo! lol :D

Mine had 16 on the clock. IIRC, I read somewhere that every Eos is taken round a test track route at the factory to check suspension etc is all OK before being shipped. Hence the 'delivery mileage'.
