Hey, my Eos is on a Ship as we speak and I have been told to expect it in 10 days. I have one question though. It is a 2.0 FSI non sport model. I can't tell as to whether the Twin Exhaust will be visable at the back or not?

Can anyone help me here. Also any further info relative to the differences to the non sport and sport model. Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's got twin pipes. As its petrol they will be visible its only the desiels that are hidden.

Hi Gogg,
At the weekend I passed a parked Eismeer Blue 2.0 FSI on an 07 plate between Uttoxeter & Lower Tean. The exhaust was hidden like the TDI. I was surprised I thought like you only the diesels had hidden pipes.

Thank for the info but it does seem strange to do it. On another note my brochure for the Eos has the V6 with a single pipe exposed. Seems very much an understatement when people equate power with number of pipes on display.
Does any one know if that design has changed on the 3.2V6 along the lines of the silver facia etc? Just interested

I have read elswhere that it fairly common for VW to run short of a particular part, and as a substitue use another comaparable part to avoid slowdowns in production. Could be the case with tailpipe configurations?

Ours has hidden pipes.

Fitting alternate pipes is not normally an option as these days the pipe is generally part of the silencer unit and these are tuned for each type of engine.
