Hi all,

Finally had a few spare minutes on a very cold morning here in Melbourne (there was frost on the car), and a clean car - good opportunity to take some nicer shots.

In hindsight I should have cleaned the tyres as well (or at least photoshopped them) but hey, can't think of everything.

Enjoy:

Out of curiosity (and I'm happy to report I'm not a cat since I'm still alive;)) I checked the VW UK website.

Find it very hard to believe that there is no white colour option for you guys. Very strange. My commiserations. Wonder what the reasoning is behind that.

Don't want to rub it in but the more I look at it the more I think white is a great "colour" :).

Hi Michael,

I tend to think it is a weather and safety issue.

We don't get rain down here in the Antipodes. let alone slow (at least at sea level - we have bigger ski fields than Switzerland, but thats another story)

My last experience of Old Blighty (admittedly a particularly cold few weeks over Christmas), was one of snow, frost and fog.

A white Eos would all but disappear in that.

Note to self - do not drive into red sunsets, lava flows or on Mars.;)

White is offered everywhere else, though. There's plenty of snow in the USA, last time I looked ;), and Germany's winters are not that different, either (experienced about 30 of them myself).

No outback trips for you, either, then :D .

Seeya,
Michael
