Hello everyone.
Just a quick intro. I am a miserable middle aged Yorkshireman, with a mad wife who will be picking up her '57' plate TDI Eos on Saturday.
After much deliberation on my part, I decided to sell my much loved MX5 for something more practical ( we have a daft dog ) and after seeing an Eos in the flesh, the mrs decided in about 3 nano-seconds we were having one....
I've had a quick peek at the forum, and will probably be asking loads of idiotic questions, although I am familiar with the VW brand ( I have a Fabia, and have had loads of Dubs. ) I have not yet had a 2.0 diesel ( my 1.9 with 250bhp suffices, thanks:D )
So I must endeavour to sell my MX to make room in the drive....

Welcome to another Yorkshireman.

Wise choice. But then what would you expect a Yorkshireman to make?!

Mr G, welcome to the forum. Just make sure that you prise the kets out of the Mrs hand on regular occasions so you can enjoy many happy EDA's.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

Welcome to the club, think of all that beautiful Yorkshire countryside you will have to drive around 'topless' come spring! Having said that, as long as its not actually raining, you will find most of us go 'topless' regardless, wind deflector in place, bug catcher up and bum warmers on and all is right with the world! Any questions, you could put something in the 'search' box and you will be sure to find the answer. Many happy safe EDA's

Thanks for the welcome :)
I used the Mazda as a daily driver most of last year, and enjoyed topless motoring 90% of the time ( even coming home from work at midnight!) But both of us and Stupidshire Bull Terrier don't really fit in it tbh.
I'm sure some enjoyable days out will be had. I'll keep you posted.
