Yes i have...I have some 600 songs on 3 ordinary cds currently in my 6 disc stacker. Firstly, does your audio system have written just below where the cd's are inserted "MP3"?? if not then you may have an older version audio system. Otherwise you simply stick in an ordinary blank cd (CDR or even CDRW) into your computers cd burner and click & drag mp3's into the cd folder (upto 650Mb), then burn them on, and presto....you can hold and play 650mb worth of music on one cd in your eos.

I got the CD ERROR message but I just tried different makes of CD-R until
I found one that worked (Verbatim). I just used a simple folder structure of album with the tracks inside.

Make sure your disk is closed and not set for multiple future additions. That may be your problem. Software like Roxio or Nero is better than the Windows options.

no u certainly dont have to have a folder structure, I have not used any folders....i just dumped some 200 songs straight on....which isnt so good because i can never find that song that i want....i ll eventually get around to making some folders and sorting it out....

As for brands of cd's, that should not mater, I suspect if you are having difficulties with different brands then perhaps its the disc capacity, some cds are 650mb and some 700mb....perhaps the eos audio only does 650mb??

GOgg is correct (i neglected to mention in my earlier post) software based burning programs (nero is good and very user friendly) are much better than the majority of operating system based applications. And yes, the session must be closed off for a cd to be read by the cd player

It's worth noting that ONLY MP3's work. ie. not MP4, WAV, or any other alternative audio types. I ripped a whole load from my Sony Walkman but the format wasn't recognised.

Fortunately, iTunes has a simple 'convert to MP3' facility, so I converted all my music and all was well.

I would also recommend burning the discs at x8 speed or slower.

Got this some time ago off this site, if it's any help.

Remove a Stuck CD from a Car CD Player
If you can power on the unit, and press the eject button still, then this how-to should work for most standard in-dash units. (There is also a tiny black button behind most face-plates on aftermarket stereos that you can press with the end of an opened-out paper clip, should your eject button not work.)

[edit]
Method 1
1. Take a blank/useless CD (such as AOL free trial CD's, you can them in a plethora of amounts in Best Buy) and place it about 1 inch deep into the slot.
2. Press the 'Eject' button and gently wiggle the CD around. If this doesn't work, repeat and try to get the blank CD below the the jammed CD, and gently pry the target CD upwards.
3. Sometimes, unusual amounts of pressure may be on the unit, behind the dash itself. Have a professional or a friend that you trust remove the dash unit and try steps #2 and #3.

[edit]
Method 2
1. Get a 1 inch to 2 inch wide putty knife and wrap tape around it with the sticky side of the tape on the outside of the knife. Use a strong tape like Gorilla tape for best results. The knife is typically tappered so that if you wrap the tape tight enough it will not slide off the end
2. Get a piece of paper and stick it to one side of the knife. Trim with scissors. You now have a thin sticky knife you can slide into the CD player opening.
3. Insert knife into CD player with sticky side down trying to get it to go on top of the CD that is stuck. Press down gently to get the tape to stick to the CD.
4. Gently lift up and pull the knife out. Hopefully the CD will come with it. You might try hitting the eject button if it doesn't work the first time...

[edit]
Method 3
1. With the heel of your hand, slam it into the front of the CD player.

Tips
• The clear plastic CD that tops off most CD bundles of 25 or more is a great tool to keep if this is a persistent problem.
