"Mud flaps" dirty words (excuse the pun), not somthing I would generally look at but?

Does anyone have any pics of the Eos fitted with mud flaps, part of my journey home each day means I pass through an estate where skip lorries etc go to unload, even in the dryest of days it is usually very muddy on the road and the splah up from the wheels make a total mess of the side of my prized car.

As mine is black I thought flaps may not look too bad

Derek

Ps I have tried scanning the "photos" section but its not that easy to locate any.

Hi Derek,

The following photos are of OEM VW mudflaps fitted to my partner's Eos:

Front mudflap

Rear Mudflap

Rear Mudflap - close-up

Hope these help - as you can see they carry some "battle scars" already.

Hi David

Yes this is what I am afraid of, we have a growing culture in the UK for "speed bumps", the local councils think they slow traffice down but they forget they also affect emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire engines. I was concerned about the flaps catching.

I think though that I will go ahead with them, thanks for the pics

The mudflaps don't stand out on a black Eos.

Thanks for that, I took the plunge on Friday and ordered them, they actually arrived at my dealer this morning. I think the positives out weight the possibility of them spoiling the vehicle lines, I seem to get quite a lot of small speckles of road tar down the bottoms of the doors. I think the flaps will stop some of it

Thats for the pic
