My Eos was ordered 3 weeks ago (2.0 FSI Sport, Shadow Blue, Black Leather Int, iPod connection). Whilst driving my current 307 suddenly realised I hadn't opted for the multifunction wheel for radio/stereo control. Will I miss this or am I just being lazy?! :)

I had one on my last car but it just operated the stereo. The VW offering is better but the extra cost I found ridiculous. I can live without it, in fact I don't even think about it now.

I drive a company car with controls for the radio/CD on the steering wheel but don't miss this feature at all when I'm in my EOS, I just don't think about it.

well i agree the cost is ridiculous but i couldnt have a car without controls on the wheel so ive ordered it. but i think we all know the price of the car things like this and dual zone, 6 disc, ipod con, wind def etc should be standard

i currently drive a Pug 307 with the controls on the S/W - I wouldn't be without them now, so the Eos had to have the MF wheel. Yes the cost is silly, and I agree the car should be better spec'd up
