Hi to anyone who bothers to reads this

Ive just been told today that my car is being prepared for delivery .... i am soooo excited i feel like a kid in a sweetie shop. I have been told the registration plate and awaiting that all important phone call .... OMG OMG

i am impossible to live with at the min as the Eos is all ive spoken about for the last few weeks (since i ordered it in June)

I'm getting 2.0lt Sport TDi CR Metallic Black, (no optional extras tho as its on a lease) i cant wait ........ cumon sun .... give me ur best xxx

That's quick delivery. Must be off stock. I was in the dealer on Saturday and he was quoting January for a new factory build.

We look forward to hearing all about it and seeing pics when you get it.

LateBar, technically ive been waiting three years for it .... since walking into the VW garage and asking somthing about CD changer in my Golf, saw the Eos in its full glory and swore i would have one.

ive now been given a date ....... 29 July 2009 between 1pm - 5pm OMG

We are just outside Newark on A46 Jinnyp. There are two of us with EOS's in the village. Will keep an eye out for you (so to speak).

Skidoo .... its a lease car through work - i think they ordered from West Bridgford ..... number plate was different from the one they quoted ... FH instead of SP lol but its absolutely gorgeous ....... everything i have eva wanted in a car and much much more.... cant tell you the amount of people who have come up to me and commented on what a beautiful looking car it is.... and i have to agree. was absolutely throwing it down with rain when it was delivered so no chance to get the roof down but i do know now that the roof doesnt leak lol. have had it down several times now tho and its awesome ... kids call it the transformer!

anychance i get im in it .. no more sending em to the shops for bread or milk, i go lol ... im like a kid in a sweet shop, drove to lincoln with the top down thurs evening, was funny coz my son and his mate were very wind swept wen we arrived, my daughter and i were fine .... they werent impressed as it ruined their hairdos!!! next time they can walk!

just bog standard sport version though, no extras like in urs =[ but thats fine coz i love it love it love it ........

I bought mine from GMP Performance in North Carolina in the USA, and found they were good to deal with and the best price.

gmpperformance.com.

It has a number of features, including being able to open the roof on the move - the options are 0, 7,14,21,28 kmh. I have mine on the 0 setting, I don't want to risk any damage. In theory, a Smarttop can void the warranty, and if you set on anything but 0kmh, you are asking for it.

I particularly wanted it for the ability to make the horn chirp when locking and unlocking, and remote roof open and close.

What is the point of having such a great roof, if you can't stand out side the car and watch it in action?

omg i couldnt argee more ....... i want to stand and watch my roof go down .... its awesome ... only way i can do that is to let one of my kids do it while i stand in awe and watch ...... wen you press n hold down the open button, the sunroof opens and the windows go down .... y oh y havent VW made it so the whole roof comes off ....... never mind ..... two weeks in and i still love it from the moment i set eyes on it ... feel so proud walkin up to it .... hey, has anyone else noticed that people are paticularly ignorant wen you have the roof down .... people never let me out at junctions anymore and look at me as if i summin thats been deposited by a dog!!! hey ho, jealously/envy is not a nice thing .... life's a bitch lol

Yes Jp I have noticed this myself. Its hell trying to get out of our village on to the A46 lets hope when the new road is finished life will be a bit easier in our area.
