Hello everyone,

I just sign in this great forum and want to say hello to everybody ! :)

I am from the Azores Islands and shall get my brand new all black 2.0 TDI EOS on next week.

Can't wait anymore to get it in my garage side by side with my "beloved" Yamaha FJR 1300 AS !

You shall find all my details in my personal website mentioned in my digital signature bellow.

All the very best.

You're right ! I get the same small space feeling with my powerfull FJR 1300 motorcycle, that's why every year I ship the bike to mainland Portugal for large trips in Europe (Norway, Greece, Croatia, etc.).

Shall do the same with the Eos, in case I don't move definitively to Lisbon on next September ;)

Congratulations on your fine purchase and welcome to the community of like minded Eos owners. A query, since most Eos are made in Portugal what's your order to delvery time like?

Cheers

Graham,

Although the Eos is produced in mainland Portugal (Palmela) it takes about 2 to 3 months before you can get your car delivered, if not a serial model.

Since I was happy enough to find exactly the Eos I wanted in one of the many Portuguese VW dealers (2.0 TDI deep black, top sport version, titanium black leather interior and 17' Le Mans wheels), my new car shall be delivered in just one week. Only the time it takes to ship the Eos from Lisbon, in mainland Portugal, to the Azores Islands, where I actually live.

I'm ready for clubbing together for a new Atlas for our Administrator :D :D :D

All the very best from another Eos happy (pre) owner ;)

Pierre,
Its obviously a bit faster but not as fast as I had thought. I'm sure you won't be dissappointed with your purchase, only with the number and size of roads, I bet. I presume a lot more expensive to ship the mainland than your bike.

Remember and put up a few pictures of your new wheels together with some of the stunning scenery from your web link.

Regards
