My sentiments are exactly the same; however, I have always named my NAV system "Chuck". In spite of the fact that the voice is female, the system must be male ......... aren't most females "directionally challenged"?I have never thought about giving a name to a car, hence the reason I did not reply to the original thread. Perhaps its because I don't want to get attached to an object that I will probably get fed up of in another year or so then it gets traded in for something more upmarket. (At least thats been the case until the Eos, maybe it will change now).
Cheers
Hi Denny!btw schoolhousefred if you call someone chuck in UK it usually indicates you come from up north, and can be applied to male and females

schoolhousefred fred fred, have no problems with a map as long as I turn the map in the direction I am supposed to be travelling. I use the word supposed very loosely in this context of course lol
well it was a good enough reason to go for the sat nav in the eos, or will she be the first of my cars that adopts a name. watch this space and time will tell! any suggestions greatly recieved and considered, and any overly frilly fluffy ones will immeadiately be scoffed at and dismissed lol![]()
