Just taken delivery of this new model and for a 1.4 engine, its great. Anyone else got one?

Yep picked up a Midnight blue one 4 weeks ago and like you I'm amazed. I test drove one on 3 different occasions because I just could not get it through my head that this was powerful enough but I knew I could get a brand spanker for less money than a 2nd hand TDI and that swung it for me. 15 weeks later when it was actually delivered it blew me away, yes you have to work the gears a bit more but it really does fly. Hugely impressed with that 1.4 tsi engine

Your absolutley right about the power it delivers, why does anyone pay
£000s more for a bigger engine? I paid less than £19k including the extras and a full tank. I reckon that was a bargain. What do get get 2nd hand for that kind of money?

Is it available only as manual or with the new seven speed DSG also?

Never gave the DSG a thought but pretty sure its only available in 1.4 engine as a manual.

Quite correct, manual only - can you imagine what the 2.0 tsi must be like ?!
