[Expat EOS]

Hi,

My fiancée and I picked up our new EOS 2 weeks ago and we absolutely love it.

We moved to Dallas from London 19th May and needed to get a car. We had decided we liked the EOS whilst in London and used this site to gather information I needed to make sure it was right for us.

Being English I though I could save a few £'s and buy a nice second hand one, however when I started to look at prices I released that there was not much in it, so we went for a new one.

And how good was the dealer, we went in on a Thursday evening, we went for a test drive and decided to buy one, we knew what colour, trim, model we wanted so that part was easy, they found one in the area and said they could have it there the next day. We could not make it on the Friday but went back on the Saturday, signed the paperwork and drove away in a great car.

Thanks for all the information on the site, it has been and continues to be a great help.

Welcome to the US and welcome to the forum. Compared to buying a car in your native land, I'll bet you found the buying experience much easier. Hope you like it warm. It may cause you not to use the top as often during the daytime in summer. But the evenings are nice.

Gary, I wish I could send you some of the sunshine/ heat, last weekend was really hot but it has cooled of to around 32*C/ 90*F now so it's going to be a good weekend.

As Andy mentioned, the evenings are great, there is nothing better than getting the top down for the drive home after a round of golf.

I can understand why you got away from london its a busy hell hole! I dont live too far from the centre of manchester lucky its far enough or i'd be moving with you!

Its roasting here in bulgaria at the moment 30 odd degrees every day yippee, shame im back on friday night though, I am looking forward to going back home and eating a decent indian and chinese though and seeing my OH

I hope your liking Dallas and make sure you post up some piccys in a stunning location for us

yeah early hours of saturday morning im back, Oh yeah i cant wait to see snobbers and make sure he's ok, it will be weird driving on the normal side of the road in a normal car ha ha
