Hello! Brought my new Eos home in January. Have no idea if the convertible top works, it's almost April and it's so awful outside I haven't even been able to open the sunroof portion!

Someone remind me - Why do we live here?

Welcome Icswanson. I thought Chicago was the windy city anyway ? Here in U.K. was are so used to rotten weather that unless its actually raining we just put the roof down, wind deflector up, bum warmers on and go for it! With all this talk of so called 'global warming' perhaps you should get used to doing the same! Good Luck

Here we have to use sun block if the drop the top during the day. The minimum hasn't dropped below 20C yet.

If you live in the burbs I don't know what the allure is. We live on the northwest side in the city. Driving down LSD is a pretty cool thing and we do that quite often.Driving down Michigan Ave with the top down or the sunroof open and watching the tall buildings is nice. If you want to get out of the car there's the various lakefront parks and beaches. Admittedly the weather is not always the best for dropping the top, but you can use the sunroof if it isn't raining and it's chilly out. That's why we have ours and why we stay here.
