My first post was a reply to another thread when I should hve started a new one. So here it is.

I'm happy to be a new EOS owner. My wife and I got the car last Saturday. We had no intention of buying one. We went to by a car for my son to whom I promised a car to if he received a full college scholarship. Actually, I didn't even plan on looking for a car for him that day but my wife suggested it. We went to the VW dealer to look and found a mint condition 2006 Jetta for him (I was really intrigued by the two 2004 Phaetons on the lot, LOL). While taking our time looking, the EOS caught my wife's eye.

To make a long story short, we left the lot driving our new EOS. We traded in my Chrysler 300C. Four years and and still looking new. That was a special gift for me from my wife after a bout with cancer. This time it was her turn so I happily traded the car in. I'm enjoying this new car! Today it was Sunny and 80 degrees and driving with the top down was exhilarating!

Welcome!
So now we're all waiting for a Phaeton hardtop convertible, right? :p
